Food waste from the towers went out with the mixed garbage, collected by a private hauler every morning.

THE PROBLEM TO SOLVE

The project needed on-site composting for approval, in a waste room that had already been planned at a fixed size.

WHAT WAS DIFFICULT

The waste room was in the basement, so the machines had to come down a ramp in sections.

13D site scanWe scanned the waste room and placed the machine in a 3D model of it before the order was confirmed.
2Site readinessOur checklist went to the site team: floor space and an MCB point were ready before delivery.
3Delivery and commissioningOur team delivered the machines from Coimbatore, positioned them and ran the first cycle on site.
4TrainingWe showed the staff how to segregate, shred, feed with sawdust and take out the compost.

The community's food waste now stays on site and comes back as compost for its gardens.
