Cycle time depends on the model and the waste. Several machines can share one waste room for larger sites.
Step by step
- 1ShredSorted food waste goes through the shredder into small, even pieces.
- 2LoadThe shreds go in through the feeding door with a measure of sawdust, and the door is clamped shut.
- 3CompostAutomatic mode starts from the touch panel. A paddle shaft turns the waste in the sealed, jacket-heated chamber while the air leaves through six-stage filtration.
- 4DischargeWhen the cycle ends (18 to 24 hours, by model), one button opens the twin front doors and the compost comes out into trays.
Built in, not bolted on
- A01
Jacket heating
Heat wraps the whole chamber instead of a hot rod in the middle, so compost isn't charred into black dust and the power bill stays low.
- A02
Six-stage air filtration
Odour control with no carbon filters to replace, and the machine runs under 35 dB.
- A03
No inoculum to buy
The cycle runs on heat and air alone. You add only sawdust with the food waste.
- A04
Touch panel and tower lamp
Start automatic mode from the panel; the red, amber and green lamp shows the machine's state from across the room.
- A05
Monitoring on your phone
Built-in energy meters and machine status, viewable from the mobile app.
- A06
Tool storage on board
A small door on the machine holds its service tools, so they are there when a technician needs them.

Composter questions
How long does the composter take to make compost?
About a day. The cycle runs 18 to 24 hours, depending on the model and the waste, and the specification table on this page gives each model's cycle time. When the cycle ends the amber tower lamp comes on, and one button opens the twin front doors so the compost can be taken out.
Do I need a starter culture or inoculum?
No. The cycle runs on heat and air alone, so there is no inoculum or starter culture to buy. You add only sawdust with the food waste, and sawdust is part of the full package. The support guide says to add 1 kg of fine sawdust for every 30 kg of shredded waste.
What can and cannot go into the composter?
All food waste goes in: fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, bones, shells, pasta and bakery items, plus food-soiled paper, flowers and leaves. Keep out liquids, grease and cooking oil, plastic, glass, metal, diapers and anything not certified compostable. Sort the waste on the segregation table and shred it first.
How much power does it use?
The 100 kg machine uses about 23 units of power per cycle. That is low because jacket heating wraps the whole chamber instead of putting a hot rod in the middle, and each machine has a built-in energy meter. The specification table lists the motor power of every model.
Does it need a pit or any digging?
No pit is needed. The composter is a sealed stainless steel machine that stands on the floor of your waste room. Your site needs enough floor space and an MCB electrical point. We send a site-readiness checklist and visit before delivery, so nothing waits on install day.
What does the 2-year warranty cover?
The 2-year warranty covers the machine's function and complete spares, and a tool kit comes with it. Our own technicians travel from Coimbatore to service the machine on site. After two years, an annual maintenance contract (AMC) keeps regular service visits coming. Full details are on the Warranty and AMC page.
How does the composter deal with smell?
The chamber is sealed, and the air leaves through six-stage filtration that is there to control odour, with no carbon filters to replace. The machine also runs under 35 dB. The support guide shows how to keep the blower mesh and doors clean, and what to do if you notice a smell.
Where is the composter made and serviced?
It is designed, welded, assembled and wired in-house at the Innovus manufacturing unit in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, including the control panels. Our own technicians travel from Coimbatore for installation and service visits across South India, including Chennai, Bengaluru, Kochi and Mangaluru, and a 2-year warranty comes with every machine.
