Which shredders do you supply to municipalities?
Innovus shredders are in use at 10+ government municipalities. There are eight models, single or dual shaft, from 2 to 7.5 HP, and each cuts food waste into 5 to 10 mm pieces. The stainless steel cabinets sit on castors and suit a ward waste shed.
How long does it take to compost food waste?
With an Innovus composter, 18 to 24 hours, depending on the model, and no inoculum or starter culture is needed. The shredder prepares the waste first, and the segregation table keeps plastic, metal and glass out before shredding. Composters are sized from 50 kg to 1 ton of food waste a day.
How is the waste sorted before shredding?
On a stainless segregation table. Staff pick plastic, metal and glass out of the food waste, and the rejects drop through a chute into a crate below. Only food waste moves on to the shredder. This keeps hard items away from the blades and keeps the line running.
What daily capacity can a ward install?
Composters are sized from 50 kg to 1 ton of food waste a day, and several machines can share one waste room for larger wards. Tell us how many kilograms the ward handles, and we recommend the shredder and composter models. We confirm the sizes after a site visit and a free 3D scan.
What service and warranty do municipalities get?
Every machine has a 2-year warranty covering function and complete spares, plus a complete tool set at handover. Our own technicians travel from Coimbatore for service visits, and an annual maintenance contract (AMC) continues after the warranty. Staff are trained at handover, and support guides are on this website in five languages.
What comes with the machines?
Each order includes transport, installation and commissioning, staff training, a complete tool set at handover, and a 2-year warranty with complete spares. The machines are stainless steel and are built, serviced and supported by Innovus from its works in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
