The shredder is stuck
  1. Press reverse to clear it.
  2. Pour some water. Run forward and reverse a few times.
  3. Still stuck? Switch off and unplug. Wait until the blades stop.
  4. Look for plastic, metal or a lump of dry waste. Remove it with the scraper tool, never your hands.
  5. Still stuck? Call us.
It clogs or slows down often
  1. Feed less: 5 kg at a time, slowly.
  2. Take out hard things before feeding.
  3. Wash the blades after every batch.
It won't start
  1. Check the plug is in firmly.
  2. Check the main MCB is on.
  3. Still nothing? Call us. Do not open the switch box.
The MCB keeps tripping
  1. Leave it off and call us. The wiring or the motor needs a technician.
Loud knocking or shaking
  1. Switch off at once and unplug.
  2. When the blades stop, look for something hard inside. Remove it with the scraper tool.
  3. Still noisy? Call us.
Burning smell, smoke or a very hot motor
  1. Switch off at once. Switch off the main MCB.
  2. Do not touch the motor. Call us.
You feel a shock from the machine
  1. Do not touch it again. Switch off the main MCB.
  2. Call us at once. Do not use the machine until we check it.
Pieces come out too big
  1. The blades may be blunt. Call us.
Bad smell from the shredder
  1. Wash the blades after every batch.
  2. Clean with D7 Diversey liquid twice a month.

Never open the control panel or touch the wiring. If you feel an electric shock, switch off the main MCB and call us at once.
