Questions from builders
What size composter do I need for 100 flats?
About 48 kg of food waste a day, which fits the IMB-OWC-50FA composter. Our planning estimate assumes 0.4 kg of food waste per flat a day and adds 20% for occupancy rising after handover. Larger projects use bigger models, or several machines in one waste room. We confirm the size after a site visit.
Can you plan the waste room before I order?
Yes. Before you order, our founder scans your waste room in 3D, free of charge, and places the machine in a 3D model of it, so you see the fit first. That settles the machine's position at the drawing stage instead of on install day.
What does the full package include?
The composting machine, segregation table, racks and crates, feeding steps, weighing machine, sawdust, transport, commissioning and IoT monitoring all come together, with no hidden charges. Staff are trained at handover, and a complete tool set is provided with the 2-year warranty.
Will residents notice smell or noise?
The composter is sealed, and its air leaves through six-stage filtration built to control odour, with no carbon filters to replace. It runs under 35 dB. The support guide shows staff how to keep the blower mesh and doors clean, which keeps the machine working as designed.
What support do we get after handover?
A 2-year warranty covers function and complete spares, and a tool kit stays with the machine. Our technicians travel from Coimbatore for service visits, and an annual maintenance contract (AMC) continues after the warranty. Support guides for your staff are on this website in English, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
Who runs the composter day to day?
Your own staff do, after training. At handover we teach them to sort the waste, feed the machine and empty it, and the support guides repeat each step in plain words. Only one person runs the machine at a time, and a composting cycle takes 18 to 24 hours, depending on the model.
