Shredder · Startup procedure

Wear gloves and safety glasses.Closed shoes too. Tie back long hair. No loose sleeves or jewellery.
Keep the floor around the shredder dry and clear.A wet floor is slippery.
Check the hopper is empty.Nothing left inside from the last batch.
Put an empty crate in the bay underneath.
Check the machine stands level and doesn't roll.Lock the wheels if they have locks.
Check the power cable.Cut, burnt or wet? Do not use the machine. Call us.
Plug in the power socket firmly.
Switch on, with the hopper still empty.
Check the blades turn the right way.Do this before you feed anything. Wrong way? Switch off and call us.
Only one person runs the shredder. Keep children and visitors away.
Never run the shredder with a cover open or removed.

Never open the control panel or touch the wiring. If you feel an electric shock, switch off the main MCB and call us at once.
