Screw feeder · Standard operating procedure

  1. Sort the waste first.Take out stones, metal, glass and plastic. They jam the screw.
  2. Take out long things.Rope, cloth, wire, plastic strips and long stalks wrap around the screw.
  3. Start feeding only when the screw is turning.
  4. Feed a little at a time, evenly.Do not fill the hopper to the top. Too much at once overloads the motor.
  5. Watch the waste come out evenly.Check the next machine is taking it.
  6. Never push waste in with a stick or your hand.

  7. Jam, strange noise or burning smell? Switch off at once.

  8. Stop feeding before you finish.Let the screw run until it is empty. Then waste doesn't set inside.
  9. Switch off.

Never open the control panel or touch the wiring. If you feel an electric shock, switch off the main MCB and call us at once.
